I would like to take the opportunity to say a very huge thank you to both of you for your assistance in making the Community Health Staff Development Day Forum a successful afternoon.
Bruce, thank you so much for providing an afternoon full of laughter, thought provoking activities, motivation and insight for the staff of QEII Community Health. “Fact of Life” pens are on desks everywhere, staff are also still speaking of the fun they had and the impact you have had on generating discussion amongst teams. One team leader was telling me that the forum has never dominated the discussions at team meetings before now but definitely did on Thursday. I have had many compliments on my choice of speakers. Participants are speaking of how dynamic and energetic you were along with the fact that they have not laughed so much in a long time.
The Executive Officer expressed her thanks also and has received multiple forms of informal feedback as to the success of the forum also.
Official feedback was all positive with participants finding the time was well spent, informative and enjoyable, relevant and interesting and a good opportunity to network. There were many recommendations that Bruce return for another session in the future also.
Claire, thanks for always being a pleasure to talk with, always having a smile and a laugh whenever I saw or spoke with you and for being so organised and helpful. Without your help and convincing of the ‘little black dress’ theme, the concept would have been lost for sure. Thanks for providing the actual dress too.
I look forward to remaining in contact and discussing further opportunities for staff in the future.
